Pet Cats - Revealed

My friend's crazy about cats. She takes care of them, and even provided them a home which is part of her house. Around twelve cats are currently living with her inside her house. She usually breeds cats with the most striking feature that's why it became so many. She really made the room fit for cats to live in, with ramps and enclosed porches, runs, and little shelves for them to sleep in. She even have grooming products for her cats. They have little sleeping tunnels and beds. She even films them and sends me a copy. One time, she caught on video her cats, the one sleeping being pounced by another who was such a nuisance making a huge disturbance in the room!

Miacas, a kind of specie that existed only 50 million years ago was supposed to be the source of the animals that we have now, particularly raccoons, dogs, bears and cats. In comparison to a weasel, they have claws that can be retracted if they will it.

During the time of 3500 B.C., the Egyptian people also had pets of their own and these were tamed wildcats. They were immortalized in artwork for their skills in hunting and the Egyptians believe the cat's eyes held the light of the sun. Cats were highly revered during the 1500 B.C. and it was fatal for any individual takes the life of a cat. When a person's much-loved pet cat passed away, the body was preserved and the pet owner had their eyebrows cut off to signify their mourning.

By the time it reached 1000 B.C., Phoenicians and Greek merchants brought cats to Europe and Asia. They continued to be revered for their hunting ability and skill in controlling the rodent population.

The earliest cat show was assembled in the year 1871 in the city of London, England with its cat association put up in 1887. And for those who so much love cats, the rest is in the past.

There was one time before, I needed to do some task away from the house but my mom was not feeling well. A friend of hers said she would stay with her while I was gone. Mother and Lucy were in their late 60's at the time. Mother and Lucy were already sleeping when I came back from my errands. Both were on the couches in the living room. Lucy was so sound asleep, she was snoring and mother's cat was sitting on her chest with her eyes fixed on her nose and mouth. I guess she was wondering what this new purring creature was that fascinated her so. The cat also went up and down as Lucy's chest went up and down when she breathed. I woke my mother up so she could share in this hilarious and precious moment. When Lucy's eyes popped open, she was staring straight into the eyes of an inquisitive feline face. Lucy thought she was in a dream but suddenly realized that she wasn't when we burst out laughing. She could never forget about it. Mom and Lucy reminisced about it every now and then as they grew even older.

The cats have became a part of our family and having them has been gratifying, with lots of tenderness and calm moments. We are entertained and amused by their prying actions. Aside from all the loving they have received in return and all the care and nutrition for their health, we could still supply them with things to amuse themselves as well as a comfortable quarter to sleep and play in. Purrcisely!
