Dog Beds - What Each Canine Needs

In years, our dilemma was finding our 135 pound Newfoundland dog sleeping on our bed or couch every time we get back from a walk. To settle this issue, we bought him his own memory foam bed and now he sleeps there. The dog's bed functions the similar to that of human. Hence, your dog gets the same assistance of reinforcement that we also get in our beds especially if you have an old dog with joint problems. We placed his bed at the foot of our bed under the ceiling fan.And on more occasions than one, he has been seen laying belly up with his fur waving in the breeze, somewhere in dreamland chasing rabbits.

He is one contented dog!

Our dog is getting older so we strive to maintain his physical fitness and happy disposition so he can be with us for a long time. We tenderly call our dog, BooBoo. We frequently spoil him with goodies but not to the level that is harmful to his well-being. We monitor his food intake, and see to it that it's not beyond the limit and the food he eats is healthy. Even his treats are healthy. He has a tendency to gulp his food and water, like most creatures do. In just seconds, the food is gone.

He's a water drinker and I observed that he would guzzle it down as well.We did some research and found out this was not beneficial for his well being that gulping food and water can cause acid reflux, overeating, erratic eating, choking, vomiting, digestive and nausea problems. Then, we found these really amazing bowls for food and water where it controls his eating and drinking tempo. I guess somebody has to invent one for us too, since we humans like to accelerate everything.

I'm not sure if you have seen a Newfoundland dog. It's breed has a very thick coat that sheds a lot of oily dander. Regarded as rescue dogs, Newfoundlands' waterproof double coat protects them from the chill of the icy waters. These dogs aren't used to the heat, so they feel uncomfortable during the summer.

A lot of hair falls out from his fur. His fur secretes a particular smell.During the winter months he really begins to smell. His coat takes a while to get dry that is why we don't like to bathe him during winter. That is why we need to find another way to bathe him. Yes, we found it. We stumbled upon an incredible brush. It is an ionized brush that uses negative charges for cleaning, removing odors, and untangling fur. Water or any chemical is unnecessary. BooBoo gets to be cleaned during summer and winter, and we will enjoy him smelling fresh. Humans and dog alike are pleased.

Yes, we do spoil our pets. Nevertheless, they give back so much.To keep your dog healthy, make sure he/she gets plenty of exercise, good, healthy food and water, and rest - and oh the most important part, an abundance of love.

Never allow your pet rest around the hard Flooring. Get him comfy on dog beds. At Best Pet Products you can select from a range of dog beds which will suit your needs.
