Data About Pet Cats

A lot of cats live in my girl friend's house. It has become a safe haven for them. My friend had no problem with it since she is so into them. She breeds the more exotic ones and there are about 12 cats that live with her inside the house. Like a little house small enough for cats to stay in, she made it with the ramps, windows, and covered porches. There are also runways for cats and rooms using little shelves. If cats have beauty products, she had those as well. The cats also have their own sleeping tunnels and beds, only miniature though. It was like a cat revolution, the film she sent me with. It started with only two cats, the one causing the trouble over the one who was supposedly resting or sleeping.

Miacas, a kind of specie that existed only 50 million years ago was supposed to be the source of the animals that we have now, particularly raccoons, dogs, bears and cats. In comparison to a weasel, they have claws that can be retracted if they will it.

Around 3500 B. C., Egyptians were treasuring domesticated wildcats as their pets. Their ability in hunting were portrayed by the Egyptians through artworks. Egyptians also thought that the sunlight was enclosed in the cat's eyes. Around 1500 B.C., cats were believed to be a divine being. Death was the punishment for those who killed cats. If a dearly loved cat died, its pet owner expressed their sorrow by having their eyebrows shaved and the cat mummified.

Cats were transported by Phoenician and Greek traders to Europe and Asia by 1000 B.C. They continued to be revered for their hunting ability and skill in controlling the rodent population.

It was in Europe where the original cat show was held, during 1871 in London, England. By 1887, the first cat association was instituted. What later followed for people everywhere that adore cats very much is written in history.

At one time, my mother was sick, I had to do my errands. My mother's friend offered herself to accompany her while I was away. My mother and Lucy were already seniors, they were into their late sixties at that point in time. Mother and Lucy were already sleeping when I came back from my errands. Both were on the couches in the living room. Lucy was sleeping like a log but sounded like a motor running because of her snores. Mom's cat was on her chest, staring at Lucy's mouth and nose. Maybe she was marveling at Lucy and was attracted to her. Each time Lucy inhaled and exhaled, so did her chest rose and dropped, and the cat along with it. I woke my mother up so she could share in this hilarious and precious moment. When Lucy's eyes popped open, she was staring straight into the eyes of an inquisitive feline face. At first, she thought she was dreaming, but it became clear to her that she was in reality when she overheard me and mom giggling. On occasions, they recalled that most memorable experience and even into her old age.

It has been a pleasure having our cat friends around giving us adoration and serene times. We are entertained and amused by their prying actions. Loving and caring them back aren't enough to make a happy feline that's why there are other items in the market that can make them feel relaxed and contented. Purrcisely!
